      The Port Vue Police Department consists of a full-time chief, a lieutenant, sergeant, one patrolman and 11 part-time officers. Gary W. Cartia was appointed the Borough Police Chief in January of 2000. The Borough's other full-time officers are Lt. Bryan R. Myers, Sgt. David J. Petruski and Officer John A. Thompson.

      The Mission of the Port Vue Police Department is to insure, to the greatest extent, the safety and security of our borough residents and businesses.

      We have two police vehicles in our fleet, both vehicles are black and white.
We have a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria #135 and a 2002 Ford Explorer 4x4 #136
